The meeting of the Council of Ministers chaired by the Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre first welcomed the decision of the United Nations Security Council to lift the arms embargo on Somalia that had been in place for more than 30 years.
The council pointed out that Somalia had the opportunity to ensure the general security of the country and eliminate the Al-Shabaab group.
