There are more reports of a fierce battle that took place this morning in Buulo Haji area, one of the areas under the city of Kismayo in the capital of Lower Jubba region.
The battle was between the Jubbaland administration’s Darwish forces and the Al-Shabaab organization, which came after the Jubbaland Darwish forces launched a direct attack on a place in Bulo Haji area where members of Al-Shabaab were meeting.
A source in Bulo Haji area told the media that the fighting lasted for almost two hours, and there were casualties on both sides, but it is not known how long it will last.
Officials from the Jubbaland army said that the attack inflicted a heavy blow on the Al-Shabaab members, and they are still looking for the remnants of the Al-Shabaab members who escaped from the scene.
The area of Bulo Haji, where the war took place this morning, was one of the areas where Al-Shabaab organized attacks and explosions in Kismayo, the center of Lower Jubba.
