The Somali National Army in Harardhere district of Mudug region, captured Osman Mohamud Barre, 17 years old, from Al-Shabaab group.
Officials of the government forces said that this young man was sent to explore the easy roads and places where the explosives could be inserted in the city of Harardhere.
The minister of internal affairs of the government of Somalia, Ahmed Macalin Fiqi, said that Al-Shabaab started using young children.
The Minister of Internal Affairs Mr. Fiqi said that the forces and the residents of Harardere are united every time they thwart the attempts of al-Shabaab to harm the community.
The government forces with the help of the local people freed the city of Harardhere from the al-Shabaab group in January this year. It was the first town to be liberated in the first phase of the operation against al-Shabaab.
After liberation, Harardhere district has become a city where the people who fled have returned to it, with the re-opening of educational centers and Quranic schools after 16 years.
Since it was liberated, Al-Shabaab has not been able to attack this city.
