The President of Hiraan State, Ali Jeyte Osman, announced a war against Al-Shabaab in Teedaan area of Hiraan region.
President Jeyte announced the war against al-Shabaab during a prayer meeting held in Teedaan for the martyrs of the Al-Shabaab war that was liberated from the areas of East Hiran, which was led by Nabadon Ilmi Hagar Guure.
“I have already made a decision to condole with someone who was killed by the Shabaab. I will not avenge them, but I am committed to avenge the people who were killed yesterday in the Baledweyne explosion,” said President Jeyte.
Ali Jeyte Osman is now fighting the war against al-Shabaab again, after the president of Somalia chose Ali Jeyte to lead the war against al-Shabaab.
“Al-Shabaab is a religion and they hate people. I saw this and we boarded a plane together. Father took his two sons with them from Al-Shabaab. He told me that there is a TV at home. “Look at the level of his father who has been exposed by the merciless group, this is how they are persecuting the religion, let’s fight against it,” said President Jeyte.
The city of Teedaan in Hiran region is one of the first places where the war against Al-Shabaab started last year, and now it has been under the control of Al-Shabaab for a year.
