Jama Yasin Warsame was elected today as the leader of SSC-Khatuma, after an election that took place in the city of Lasanood.
Jama Yasin Warsame won this election from Mohamud Yusuf Hassan, and got 25 votes to 20. In the presence of the high council of SSC culture.
The deputy leader of SSC-Khatuma was also elected Jama Aden Osman. And there was no one who contested the election.
The new committee will lead the 45 members of the central council of SSC-Khatuma.
They have been assigned to work on coordinating the liberation of SSC areas, working on political issues and dealing with aid agencies.
The newly elected leader of SSC – Khatuma was one of the teachers of Lascaanood town, he is also one of the people who are the most against Somaliland administration.
This council has been mandated to carry out these activities, since the SSC-Khatuma receives an independent administration similar to the authorities in Somalia, which they said is now in a good place.
