A press release issued by the Puntland Presidency stated that the President of the Puntland Government and the British Ambassador discussed strengthening the cooperation between the British Embassy and the Puntland Government, issues related to the construction of the Somali Government, the acceleration of development projects implemented by the British Government in Puntland and how the UK Government which would contribute to the completion of the Puntland Democratic process of elections.
British Ambassador Michael Nithavrianakis spoke about the development in Puntland, especially the steps taken by Puntland towards democracy.
The President was attended by the Vice President of the Government of Puntland Mr. Ahmed Ilmi Osman Karaash, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of State for the Presidency DPL and the Advisor to the President on Democratic Affairs.
