The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, spoke strongly about the suicide bombing that took place at the Jaalle Siyad College campus in Mogadishu, which killed many soldiers belonging to the brigade on October 14.

First of all, Prime Minister Hamse has sent his condolences to the families of the soldiers who died in the suicide bombing that took place inside the army camp of Jale Siad College in Hodan district of Mogadishu. He said that the attack was deplorable and a cowardly attack.

“I want to start by sending my condolences to our heroes who fell into trouble yesterday. One of the cowardly men blew himself up and some of the Somali Armed Forces were injured. May God have mercy on the dead and the injured. May the entire Somali nation be blessed, we offer our condolences for this act,” said Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre.

However, apart from the condolence, the Prime Minister did not talk about the steps taken by his government to deal with the suspicion of this suicide attack that caused the death of more than 20 of the soldiers in the camp and almost 50 others.

At the conclusion of the presidential speech, the speaker of the Somali Parliament, Sheikh Adan Madobe, who spoke about the suicide bombing, said that it is irresponsible for a suicide bomber to enter a military camp, noting that he believes that the attack was facilitated, and a clear response is expected from the country’s military command. .
