Kenyan intelligence has said that the number of Kenyans flocking to Somalia has decreased, after realizing that they are being deceived by promises of money and family support.
Kenyan intelligence said they have noticed a trend of Al Shabaab expanding its recruitment of foreigners in the region as many non-Kenyans are traveling to join Al Shabaab or Daesh.
A Ugandan man was recently arrested in Liboye on his way to Somalia. The police said that this was possible through cooperation between the security agencies and the community.
