The permanent secretaries underlined the need for joint regional efforts to combat the threat of terrorism.

“The threat of terrorism knows no borders, and it is the duty of the region to work together to fight it, and finally eliminate all terrorist groups and their allies,” said Mr Bagiire.

He emphasized the need to prepare together and in a timely manner for the ATMIS decommissioning process, and underlined the need to have the necessary resources to carry it out. reduction of forces.
