The list of members of the new Puntland Parliament has been officially announced, and it includes the 17 members from SSC-Khatumo areas.
The parliamentary list was announced late after the morning prayer, after much controversy surrounding the way members were selected.
It is not known whether the candidates will oppose the announced members of parliament, as they said last night that President Deni has seriously interfered with the seats chosen by the communities, saying that he removed the members of parliament chosen by the communities from the list.
MP Farah Yusuf Jama Dalmar, who is a prisoner in Somaliland, who was captured in the war in Sool last year, appeared in the parliament.
