The President of Hiran State, Ali Jeyte Osman, after 24 hours, clarified his position on the new position he appointed yesterday as the President of the Federal Government, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
Ali Jeyte was assigned to the office of President Hassan Sheikh for the affairs of the Public Defense Force, known as the Somalia Special Forces.
Ali Jeyte recently announced that he is happy with the position he has appointed as the President of the Somali government, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
“I welcome the position appointed by the president and I thank him,” said Jeyte.
He also spoke about Ali Jeyte Osman’s change in the administration of Hiran State.
“The issue of Hiraan State has not changed. Personally, my position in Hiraan State is the same. I have not given up on it, and I will not give up on it. This appointment is not something new. It has only been legalized. It is the agreement reached between Hawadale and President Hassan that the war against Shabaab is not for me. Leaders, turn to the war, and the issue should be brought back together, when the issue of Hiraan State is in its own place, it is not Ali Jeyte’s shop, the issue is everyone’s responsibility,” said Ali Jeyte Osman.
Ali Jeyte also called for an end to the ongoing tribal war in the Middle Shabelle so that no further bloodshed is spilled.
“The fraternal communities fighting in the Middle Shabelle must be stopped by force if there is no other solution and the government forces stop them by force,” said Jeyte.
However, the appointment of Ali Jeyte has caused a lot of discussion in the past few hours related to the appointed position and the issue of Hiran State administration.
