The meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia which was chaired today by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Saleh Ahmed Jama approved the appointment of the new Director of the Immigration and Nationality Agency which came from the proposal of the Ministry of Internal Security.
It was the eighth month of this month when the Minister of Internal Security of the Government of Somalia appointed Ahmed Said Mohamed as the interim director of the Immigration and Citizenship Agency of the Federal Republic of Somalia, whose appointment was approved by the Assembly today.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers also approved the proposal of the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources for the appointment of the members of the Board of Directors of the Electricity Authority which will be the backbone of the technical stability and implementation of the Electricity Law, and these nine members are said to be selected their expertise.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers today approved the Somalia Arms Bill, the security and safety law of government facilities, such as hotel security, commercial areas and various public service centers.
At the end of Thursday’s meeting of the Council of Ministers, various reports were heard from the Ministries of Internal Affairs and Reconciliation, Defence, Internal Security, and the Ministry of Heritage and Higher Education.
