The command of the general division of the police in the Banadir region presented a man who they said was the leader of the destabilizing attack that used artificial missiles that were carried out on Sunday at the Halane camp and the Aden Adde airport in Mogadishu.
In a statement from the police, it was said that the attack was made with artificial rockets that the Al-Shabaab group wanted to disturb the people living in Mogadishu.
The man who was said to have led the attack on the rockets that were thrown at the Halane camp and Mogadishu airport has been named by the police as Hussein Ali Deerow Buule, who is currently being investigated and the results of his investigation will be revealed.
“On 25-6-2023 at around 11:30 am, the Khawarij attacked the citizens of the capital with artificial missiles that did not cause any harm. An emergency operation carried out by the security forces of the capital came under control. They put a conspirator who led the militias who launched the attack, and he said his name is Hussein Ali Derow Bule. He will be investigated and then he will be brought before the competent court.
The statement issued by the police also said that the forces intercepted and destroyed other missiles that have not yet been launched.
“The troops intercepted the missiles that were not yet detonated, and the grenades were destroyed at the scene while the investigation is underway to arrest the conspirators,” the police statement said.
In conclusion, the police did not say where they caught the man they presented and where they took the rockets and blew them up in the city of Mogadishu.
