The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Moalim, has warned opposition politicians against going to Somali Police Stations again.

Minister Hassan Moalim called on the opposition not to take steps that undermine security and endanger their lives.

“I say to the opposition, do not go to the police stations that go to the districts and go to the people, you should not go to a station where prisoners are kept and put your lives and ours in danger, there is no security for you,” said the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Moalim.

He also spoke about Minister Hassan Moalim on the issue of the Constitution, and noted that the DanQaran Government is committed to completing the country’s long-standing draft Constitution.

“You saw in the President’s speech at the opening of Parliament that one of the things he talked about was the efforts of the Somali government to complete the Constitution and that many consultations have been held to agree on a complete Constitution, and these efforts are well underway and are being completed,” said Minister Hassan Macalin.

This statement by the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs comes as the political situation in the country has been very chaotic in recent months, following disagreements over the Constitution and the one-person, one-vote elections.
