The Military Court has sentenced Omar Hassan Mahmoud, a member of NISA, who is being sought by security agencies, to death for the murder of the late Ex-Labo Hidigle Hanad Ahmed Muse.
According to the prosecutors, the murder, which took place in the Dharkinley district on the 20th of July 2024, was committed by the murderer with intent.
The reason for the murder was a dispute that led to a fight, which arose on a narrow road in Boosaneer, where the deceased lived, and the accused used to ride a motorcycle.
The case has been under discussion and investigation for a while, and after a long investigation, the Office of the Attorney General of the Armed Forces, requested to take up the case, and was granted permission.
After various sessions, the 1st Degree Court of the Armed Forces, which gave sufficient time to the parties to the case, finally sentenced Ex-NISA Omar Hassan Mahmoud (Baxsad) to death by firing squad in the case of Ex-Labo Hidigle Hanad Ahmed Muse, as told to the media by Judge Muxumad Mohamed Omar, a member of the judiciary of the Armed Forces Court.
