The Minister of Internal Affairs and Reconciliation of the Federal Government of Somalia, Ali Yusuf Ali Hoosh, praised the fight against Daesh by the Puntland forces in the Almisakad mountains in the Bari region.
Minister Ali Khoosh said that Daesh is a great threat to the existence of Somali society, and it is necessary to fight against it and stand by the forces of the Puntland administration.
“Daesh is a group descended from extremist ideas that started in other countries, it is a global threat group that has harmed many communities around the world, many countries have been defeated, but this war will be the last place to defeat this extremist group,” said the Minister of Internal Affairs and Reconciliation of Somalia, Ali Hoosh.
The minister also called for political differences to be put aside in order to win the war against Daesh in the mountainous region of Bari region.
“This group should not be underestimated and their danger should not be underestimated, there is a need for cooperation, solidarity, and national unity. It is necessary to avoid political differences and anything that divides the society, and work to create an environment of unity, in order to win the war against Daesh,” said Minister Ali Hoosh.
He also mentioned that Minister Ali Hoosh welcomes the call made by the President of Puntland a few days ago to participate in the fight against Daesh.
“I welcome the call of the President of Puntland to participate in the fight against this Daesh group, and it is one that needs to be implemented together,” said the Minister of Internal Affairs and Reconciliation of Somalia, Ali Yusuf Ali Hoosh.
The statement of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Government of Somalia comes as the Puntland forces have been fighting fierce battles with the Daesh group for the past few weeks, and it is worth noting that the Puntland forces have achieved significant victories in these battles.
