The President of Somaliland, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi Irro, is participating in the World Conference of Governments which will be held in Dubai on 11-13 of this month.
According to the President of Somaliland, this meeting will be attended by leaders from more than 30 countries, and the focus will be on the development of the world economy, good governance, and modern technology.
The President of Somaliland will deliver a speech at the conference on the progress Somaliland has achieved, especially in the areas of economy, good governance, and democracy, according to the President’s Spokesman, Hussein Aden Cige (Dayr).
“The President of Somaliland, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi Irro, will deliver a historic speech at the meeting in which he will discuss the process of Somaliland’s governance and the democratic progress that Somaliland has made,” said Hussein Dayr.
This trip will be the second visit of the president to the United Arab Emirates in a month and a half. In his previous trip, he had meetings with leaders of the Emirates and wealthy companies, who promised to make investments in Somaliland.
The World Council of Governments, which was established in 2013, meets every year in Dubai and is led by the Government of the United Arab Emirates.
