The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, has urged Somali businessmen to take up arms and fight against the Al-Shabaab group.
Hamse instructed the businessmen not to pay the money that Al-Shabaab takes, instead they need to buy weapons to defeat the group.
“There are big businessmen sitting here who have often gone to places called by the Khawarij like Jilib, I say to you who take weapons and the government gives you legal rights to put your enemies in your nose and take money from you,” said Prime Minister Hamse Abdi. Barre.
The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia also said that Somali businessmen live a life that he described as inspirational.
“You are not dead and you are not alive and you are living a life that cannot be accepted by a man or a Somali person, the news is that the soul is cut off at once and it is the time that Allah writes for him, so pretend to be a little boy before he says, get down on your knees and take a car. After a lot of suffering, they go and face 10 threats, this is not life for businessmen,” said Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre.
This statement was made by the Prime Minister of Somalia at a meeting of the government, businessmen and the community to prevent and fight the financing of the so-called Terrorism which took place in Mogadishu.
