The president of Somalia’s federal election, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has appointed two senior advisers who are said to have shown great interest in the plans for governance, democracy and federal affairs.
The President appointed the former Minister of Security of the Puntland administration, Abdisamad Mohamed Gallan, as the Senior Adviser on PDF Affairs, who is expected to play a key role in coordinating the different systems of the country.
Ahmed Jama Mohamed Cillal has also been appointed as the Senior Adviser on Democracy and Good Government, who is said to work specifically on democratic and administrative issues.
“These two advisors who have high experience and experience in good governance and parid met the President of the Republic to effectively come out of the work done by the Somali people and candidates” was said in a statement issued by the Presidency of Somalia.
The second of these two Senior Advisers appointed by President Hassan Sheikh was one of the prominent ones who appeared before the President of the Puntland administration Said Abdullahi Deni and caused various conflicts with the Federal Government of Somalia.
