The president of the Puntland administration, Saeed Abdullahi Deni, said that they are ready to enter into a dialogue with the Federal Government of Somalia, to resolve the current conflict.

President Deni said that they need to be discussed in a public place where Somalis can witness, he added that if it is not possible, the country is in danger of being isolated like Somaliland.

Deni gave his opinion to the delegates who participated in a conference on peace issues that ended last night in Garowe city, and he asked the delegates of that conference to give them a public space to discuss with the Federal Government.

Punland’s president said many times in a dark room that they could not come up with anything, so he said that they need to be discussed in public.

“Puntland will be a leader, it is ready to bring Somalia together to provide brains, knowledge and money. We want you to understand that. If you are not denied on the other side, we will allow you,” said Deni.

Puntland and the Federal Government have been at odds for more than two years. No solution found yet. Each side accuses the other side of refusing to talk.
