The government of Somalia has said that it is bad that two of the members of the Federal Parliament of Somalia faced a situation where their security was threatened while they were in the city of Nairobi in Kenya.
The Federal Government of Somalia has strongly denied reports that the Federal Government is behind the arrest of the two MPs in Nairobi.
The Somali government said that the members of the Somali Parliament who were affected by the incident should contact the security agencies in Kenya who are responsible for security, protection of the people and guests in their country to determine what happened.
The two members of parliament of the federal government of Somalia said that they have been deprived of their freedom for a short period of time in the city of Nairobi and they said that they are on vacation.
The MPs said they were warned that they are working against the federal government of Somalia.
They said that they are sorry that they have not yet spoken about the parliamentary committee they belong to, even though they have informed the Somali embassy in Nairobi.
