More news is coming out of a communal war that caused damage that took place today in the neighborhoods of Qoryooley district in the Lower Shabelle region.
The battle was intense in the city of Qoryooley between two tribal militias who live there, who have already fought in the district and in the areas below.
The conflict between the Garre and Jiide communities in Qoryooley today started with clan-based killings that took place in the district recently, after four people from the two communities were killed.
Preliminary reports on the casualties of this tribal war say that up to three people on both sides have died, and there are many more injured.
Today, this war has greatly affected all business activities and traffic and people in that city, and a tense situation is still felt, as the militias who fought are still not far from the places where they fought.
