Four Al-Shabaab officers surrendered to the government forces.

Reports reaching us in Bulo Haji area in Lower Juba state that Al-Shabaab leaders have surrendered to the government and Jubbaland forces that have recently taken control of the area.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Information of Somalia said that four of the leaders of Al-Shabaab in charge of Bulo Haji area surrendered to the forces that took over the area a few days ago.

The leaders who surrendered to the government forces are the Emir of Bulo Haji area, the head of finance of the area, the head of Intelligence and another member of Al-Shabaab who was in charge of taking the animals that the group calls Sakawad.

The news from Somali News did not mention the names of the Al-Shabaab leaders in charge of Bulo Haji who surrendered to the army last week and took over the area.

Finally, the president of Jubbaland, Ahmed Mohamed Islam Madobe, visited Buulo Haji area yesterday and promised that the forces that occupied Buulo Haji area will not return to the area and will implement all the basic services.
