The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, and his delegation left this morning for Nairobi, the capital of Kenya.
Hamse Abdi Barre and his delegation are going to Nairobi for an official visit related to the strengthening of relations and cooperation between the two governments of Somalia and Kenya.
“The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamsa Abdi Barre, who is leading a large delegation, left this morning for Nairobi, Kenya, where he is going on an official visit to strengthen relations and cooperation between the two countries.” said in a brief statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office.
The visit of the Prime Minister of Somalia and his delegation is coming up, as an important meeting between the governments of Somalia and Kenya is coming to an end today in Nairobi.
The agreement that will be concluded today is one in which both sides focused on the development of trade cooperation, infrastructure, security, agriculture, tourism, health, education, and the blue economy.
The trip that Prime Minister Hamse left for Nairobi today is his first since he was appointed to this position in June 2022. President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has already visited Nairobi and signed various agreements with his Kenyan counterpart William. Ruto.
