The Defense Committee of the Somali Parliament said that they will have an open meeting with the Minister of Defense and the Commander of the XDS Army, to inquire about the corruption of the food for the DANAB army, which is the armed forces of the Somali country trained by the United States.
In a press release issued by the committee, he described the corruption that was done in the food of the army that defended the country’s sovereignty, while fighting against the Al-Shabaab group.
The committee said that it was clear that the money intended for the army was corrupted and managed outside of the system and the government structure, and this they said is a setback for the boys and girls who are standing for the liberation of the country.
The Defense Committee is waiting for the Ministry of Defense to answer questions, including, who is responsible for washing the food of the Danab army.
