Israel’s National Security Council has issued a new warning about security threats to Israelis and Jews outside Israel, including in Somaliland, saying that the Houthis are planning to target Israelis traveling to Somaliland.
As reported by i24NEWS, the Council said that terrorist groups have increased their efforts to target Israelis and Jews, with the threat being felt in various countries and regions around the world.
The Council added Somaliland, Jordan, Qatar and Egypt, including the Sinai Peninsula, to countries with a Level 4 travel warning, advising Israeli citizens to avoid these countries and areas altogether.
The report also said that groups including Hezbollah, Hamas, ISIS and Al-Qaeda continue to issue threats and incitements against Israelis and Jews.
The council added that the Houthis have also called for harming Israelis in Somaliland and elsewhere in Africa, citing Israel’s presence on the continent.
The warning comes as Israel’s National Security Council said there has been an increase in attacks by lone individuals targeting Israelis and Jews around the world.
