The Ministry of Education of the Federal Government of Somalia today officially announced the schedule for the 2025 national secondary school examinations, which will be administered to students in secondary schools across the country.
The ministry said that students will sit for the final exams between June 20 and 25.
Nearly 40,000 students from the states and the Banadir region will participate in the national exams this year.
The ministry noted that the national exams are an important step in strengthening the Somali education system and ensuring a unified system for assessing the educational level of students across the country.
Last year, the number of students who sat for the national secondary school examinations reached 38,471 students.
Meanwhile, the schedule for the 8th grade examinations in primary schools in the Banadir region will be entered between June 15 and 18.
