The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, Ambassador Ahmed Macallin Fiqi, said that the Ethiopian government is trying to confront Somalia and neighboring countries and other supporting countries, in order to reduce the relationship between them and their support for Somalia.
Minister Ahmed Fiqi, who was being questioned by the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament, said that Ethiopia has gone to many countries that are close friends with Somalia, and at the same time she told them that Somalia does not want to discuss the dispute over the maritime agreement. which Somaliland entered into.
“Ethiopia wants Somalia to be seen as aggressive and against dialogue, and then those countries will withdraw their support to Somalia as soon as they become neutral,” said Minister Fiqi.
The minister said that Ethiopia is seriously interfering in Somalia’s internal affairs. He said that Ethiopia is due to the regional governments, and it is also training troops at the borders of the country.
Fiqi also said that there is nothing in the news that a Somaliland passport can travel to other countries, except Ethiopia.
