The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, today appointed new members of the Council of Ministers of the Government of Somalia.
The new members appointed by Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre consist of four people who are all members of the Somali Parliament.
“Prime Minister Hamsa, who is fulfilling his constitutional duty as mentioned in articles 97, 98 and 100 of the Transitional Constitution, and having considered the advice of the JSF President, and realizing the enormous tasks facing the Government, has appointed the members of the ministers mentioned below. ” was said in a statement issued by the Office of the Prime Minister Hamse.
Among the appointed members are MP Bashir Mohamed Jama, Bashir Goobbe who was appointed as the Minister of the Ministry of Family and Human Rights Development, while MP Omar Ali Abdi was appointed as the Minister of State for the Ministry of Defense of Somalia.
MP Mohamed Mohamud Haid was also appointed as the Minister of State for the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, while Mohamud Abdiqadir Haji Jeego was appointed as the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Somalia.
