The government of Somaliland has said that it is ready for the parties to discuss the prisoners who were captured during the Lasan war.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Somaliland, Mohamed Kahin Ahmed, who gave an interview to BBC Somali, said that his government is ready to enter into negotiations on the issue of the Prophet.
“The government of Somaliland is in a good position for the prisoners, and it is always ready to discuss the issue of the prisoners in a peaceful and unconditional manner,” said Kaahin.
He said that the talks between the parties have started, but there are still many drafts, and that is why we cannot say an official time to reach a solution to the issue of prisoners.
Somaliland and SSC Khatumo captured prisoners during the ongoing war in the city of Lasanood, the parties have not yet agreed on how to transfer them.
