There is a growing number of members of the Federal Parliament of Somalia who oppose the government led by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
Some members of the People’s Assembly who spoke to the media strongly attacked the President of the Federal Government and said that he failed to lead the country.
MP Yusuf Gamaadid, one of the MPs who attacked President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, called on him to resign and abandon the country and the Somali people.
“President, you have failed in the leadership of the country, become the first African president who has failed in leadership and resigned. President Hassan Sheikhov has only one thing left to do, and he is an old man, he has become an old man, and the country has fallen into a hole. Resign and step down,” said MP Gamadid.
He also said that MP Yusuf Gamadiid has abolished the system of government in three institutions and put all of them under one office of the presidency.
“There is a failure in this country and there is fear of our government. President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is a Somali elder who has been in the opposition for 5 years. It was believed that he would drive, but it did not happen,” said MP Yusuf Gamadid.
Abdimaalik Abdalla, a member of the People’s Assembly of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, strongly attacked the Government and President Hassan Sheikh and said that they are behind the civil wars, illegal weapons and drug smuggling into Somalia.
“You know that Hassan Sheikh and his team that came to power threatened the Farmajo government in 1991, when this country entered the civil war, today I congratulate you for fulfilling your promise and returning the country to Kismayo in 1991. Since Somaliland, there has been a communal war, armed men and drug dealers have taken over the country. said MP Abdimalik Abdalla.
The statement made by the members of the People’s Assembly comes as President Hassan Sheikh and Prime Minister Hamse are facing heavy pressure from the Federal Parliament of Somalia.
