Abdirisaaq Abdullahi Macallin Eid, a member of the Somali Parliament, said that he was threatened with death when he spoke about the incident at the Central Prison and the attack on the Top Coffee restaurant, accusing the government of not taking any action to respond to those incidents.

The member of parliament who was speaking at the parliament session said that when he spoke about these events, he was contacted by one of the government officials, saying that he was threatened to be shot in the head. The MP also said that he was described as Al-Shabaab.

“I am not a member of Al-Shabaab, but I care about my people, because I have a responsibility, and I am the representative who was elected to talk about these issues. “After today, if you talk about this, you will be shot in the head,” said the MP.

The MP did not say who threatened the official, but he stated that he will share a report with the parliament to prepare a report on the person who threatened him.
