The armed forces of the country with the help of the local people carried out a planned operation to kill members of Al-Shabaab in areas under the district of Eeldheer in Galgaduud region.
The military carried out the operation specifically in the area of Ali Cadhole, approximately 33 km north of Eeldher, where 7 members of the Al-Shabaab group were killed.
The commander of the 24th Brigade, Khalid Binu Walid, of the Somali National Army, Lieutenant Colonel Mohamed Dhegaweyne, told the national media that the army also opened arms and military supplies that were carried by the killed members.
“The army learned that the group was secretly present at the site of the attack, and they managed to end it by showing the pictures of the dead bodies of the conspirators, including the leader, and where they were hiding. destroyed the operation” was said in a statement issued by the government.
