The relatives of a motorcycle driver who was killed six days ago by the security forces in Garowe city, are complaining that they did not get any justice, while on the other hand they refused to bury the body.

The body was also refused to be placed in the refrigerator of the general hospital in Garowe, forcing them to rent a private refrigerator to store the body, until someone is found who takes responsibility for the murder of their son.

Puntland’s security agencies told the media a few days ago that an operation to fight against illegal weapons and drugs resulted in deaths and injuries to the people, saying that they are taking responsibility for that.

However, the family of the deceased said today that Puntland’s security forces have closed their doors and refused to receive and discuss the complaint of their son’s murder.

The relatives of the deceased said that every day they pay about $200 for the rent of the refrigerator containing the body of the deceased.

Warsom who contacted the Garowe General Hospital administration, told them that a recent decision by the Puntland Ministry of Health prohibited the storage of corpses in the hospital’s refrigerators, except for unidentified corpses and corpses that require an autopsy.
