Somaliland’s Waddani opposition party described President Bihi as a criminal who must be held accountable.
At the forum where the leaders of the party met with some of the supporters, the Chairman Hirsi Ali Haji Hassan said that Bihi is a criminal.
“On this night, Musa is the first person who needs to be held accountable for what happened in the country and the situation he is in,” said Hirsi.
He said that the president withdrew from the agreement made by the elders of East Buro, which was facilitated by the Burtagacanlibah Front, in order to unite the people of Somaliland without elections.
“We are saying that the people will see the elections that are expected, and you are talking about where they are today. We will not stand against anyone who is guilty, but what the authorities agree on, they must keep it,” said Hirsi.
Candidate Abdirahman Irro who also spoke at the venue said that the president is his friend and his speech will not be answered, saying that he will work for the brotherhood of the Somaliland community if he wins.
President Bihi said yesterday that justice will be brought before the members of the Gaanlibah Front who killed the policemen in the attack which his government has already pardoned.
