The court of Galgaduud region of Galmudug administration today executed three men who were found to be behind the murder of a doctor and a Quran school teacher who were brothers.
The three men who were shot today are Nour Abdi Mohamed, Shuayb Mohamed Farah and Bile Abdullahi Hassan.
The men killed Ahmed Hassan Osman who was a doctor and teacher Liban Hassan Osman who were both brothers in Ilix area of Guriceel district in Galgaduud region.
Some of the people who live in Dhusamareb city in the Galmudug capital and some of the people from both sides came to watch the scene where the three men were shot.
The shooting of a man carried out today was widely welcomed by the people of Galgaduud region which is one of the regions where most of the killings happen based on tribal affiliations.
The Galgaduud regional court has already executed various death sentences on many people who were found to have committed culpable homicides, and most of the shootings were carried out by the court in the Aabudwaq district of the Galgaduud region.
