The Minister of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia, Bihi Iman Cige, who is in New Cairo, Egypt, today participated in the opening of the annual meeting of the Financial Institutions of Arab countries, which will be held this year in New Cairo, Egypt.
This two-day conference will focus on the issues of financial development in the Arab countries, economic cooperation and how to overcome the existing challenges.
It will also be analyzed the economic formation of the Middle East crisis on the economy and international financing.
Somalia’s Minister of Finance, Bihi Iman will give information to the participants and the Arab Financial Institutions about the level of debt relief, economic development and debt relief after the plans of the Federal Government of Somalia.
The minister will also talk about how international and Arab organizations can support Somalia in terms of economic development.
The Minister of Finance of Somalia, while participating in this meeting, will also hold special meetings with the Heads of the countries and the Arab Financial Institutions in cooperation with the Government of Somalia.
