Puntland’s armed forces and serious crimes court released 6 foreign accused who were formerly members of the Daesh group.
These foreigners were born in Ethiopia and Morocco, and were handed over to the Puntland Ministry of Justice to be sent to their countries.
The court also released 6 minors, who are members of the Daesh group.
These youths have been handed over to the Ministry of Justice, to be rehabilitated and eradicated from the ideology of extremism.
The chairman of the Puntland military court, General Abdifatax Haji Adan, said that these foreigners surrendered to Puntland, after escaping from the Daesh group.
Recently, it was when Puntland executed foreigners from Morocco, who were said to be members of the Daesh group.
Morocco has expressed great concern over the sentence of its citizens, calling for their extradition.
