More reports are coming out of a fierce battle yesterday afternoon between the towns of Buulaburte and Halgan in the region of the local defense forces known as Maawisleyda and Al-Shabaab group.
The fighting took place especially in the mountain called Wareertire between the districts of Halgan and Bulaburte, after Al-Shabaab members gathered there and attacked the local defense forces.
The attack between the two sides was said to have lasted for almost 2 hours and both sides used different types of weapons.
An officer of the local defense forces who spoke to the HOL network told us that five Al-Shabaab members were killed in the attack, while one person was killed on their side.
The battle that took place in the mountain of confusion comes at the same time, as last night the warplanes of the international friends carried out a heavy attack that killed members of Al-Shabaab in Jicibow area, which is approximately 25 KM from Buulaburte district in Hiran region.
