The forces of the federal government of Somalia with the help of the Jubbaland administration foiled an attack by the Al-Shabaab group in the area of Barsanguni in the Lower Jubba region.
A statement issued by the federal government said that the army prevented the attack that the group wanted to carry out in Barsanguni, and now the army is carrying out operations to kill members of the Al-Shabaab group.
“The National Army managed to prevent the attack of the Khawarij and its information was preserved, and an operation is still going on to kill many conspirators, whose bodies are scattered in the area,” said the statement issued by the government.
The forces of the Federal government of Somalia have increased the operations against the Al-Shabaab group in the war against the government of Somalia, and it is worth noting that Jubbaland is one of the areas where the group is still strong.
