The Federal Government of Somalia has strongly condemned the diplomatic violation by the Ethiopian government against the Somali president’s delegation in Addis Ababa to participate in the African Union meeting.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia stated that the Ethiopian government committed violations to prevent the delegation of President Hassan Sheikh from participating in the African Union summit.

“The Federal Republic of Somalia has strongly condemned the provocation by the Ethiopian government to disrupt the delegation of the President of Somalia attending the 2024 African Union Summit in Addis Ababa” was said in a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Somalia.
