The weekly meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia was discussed today on the operations to eliminate the Al-Shabaab Organization in some parts of the country.
The meeting was also discussed about the progress made by the Somali Civil Aviation Authority in recent years, and the meeting was chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Salah Ahmed Jama.
At the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, reports related to the public security of the country were heard from the Minister of Defense and Internal Security of Somalia, who presented the achievements of the last operations that freed the country from the Al-Shabaab group.
The Ministry of Transport and Aviation of Somalia has also given the Council of Ministers a detailed report on the aviation activities in the country, and said that it is in full control of the administration and management of Somalia’s airspace.
At the end of the meeting, the Council of Ministers announced that the Ministry of Justice has made further efforts in the review process and the draft of the country’s Constitution, which is currently being finalized before the Somali Parliament.
The Somali Cabinet of Ministers holds a meeting every Thursday to discuss the current situation in the country.
