The embassy of the United States of America in Mogadishu spoke about the attack that took place last night at the General Gordan camp in Mogadishu, in which officers from the United Arab Emirates were killed.
A statement issued by the American Embassy in Mogadishu was the first to offer condolences to those who died in the attack on the General Gordan camp in which officers and soldiers were killed.
“We send our deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the terrible terrorist attack yesterday that targeted the trainers of the United Arab Emirates and the Somali soldiers who are working bravely to improve the stability of the country,” said a statement issued by the American Embassy. published in X site.
The press also condemned the US government for the attack, saying it is committed to supporting efforts to rebuild peace in Somalia.
This news from the United States coincides with last night a soldier opened fire on the Emirati officers and their guards inside General Gordan’s camp.
It has been confirmed that four people, three of whom were born in the United Arab Emirates and a soldier from the Bahraini army, were killed in the attack, and two other military trainers from the United Arab Emirates were injured.
