Al-Shabaab shot dead 7 people in a public square in the city of Jilib in the Middle Jubba region.

The Al-Shabaab organization has shot seven people in a public square in the Jilib district of Middle Jubba region, accusing them of being spies working with the federal government of Somalia, the Jubbaland administration and the governments of the United States and Kenya.

The place where the men were shot was watched by people living in the neighborhoods of Jilib, who ordered Al-Shabaab to participate in the shooting of seven people, all of whom were mostly young men.

Ali Bakar Yusuf, known as Hamze Bajouni, 32 years old, was accused by the group of working with Kenyan intelligence, while Jamal Idris Nayaaga, 23 years old, Al-Shabaab said he was working with Kenyan government intelligence, especially those called ATPU.

Among the men who were shot were Julo Muwan Joule Jaaka Yasir who was 28 years old, who Al-Shabaab said was a member of Kenyan intelligence, Talar Abdulle Adan who was the biggest man who was shot and was 55 years old. They accused him of working with the American CIA, while 33-year-old Deeq Farah Yusuf was accused by the group of being a spy for Kenya.

Mursal Hassan Yusuf, who is 19 years old, is also accused by Al-Shabaab of being a member of the Jubbaland army, while Ibrahim Mohamed Ibrahim, who is 27 years old, is accused by the group of being a member of the Somali government.

It is not the first time that the Al-Shabaab group has shot in public in the areas they rule over people they accuse of being spies working with various intelligence agencies.
