Members of the People’s Assembly of the Federal Parliament of Somalia announced today in Mogadishu a meeting called “National straight”.
The members of the People’s Assembly told the media that the assembly stands for the protection of the country’s constitution.
Member of Parliament Khalif Abdi Omar, one of the MPs united in Kudladan, read a press release issued by the MPs united in Kudladan, who came to announce it at a critical time.
“As MPs of the 11th Parliament of the Federal Government, we hereby announce the name of the National Alignment Council, which stands for the protection of the constitution and by-laws of the House of People, the general purpose of the Council is the representation of the Somali people, accountability and sustainability. government agencies, establishing and maintaining the laws of the country,” said MP Khalif Abdi Omar.
The parliamentarians in this group also said that they are against the provisions of the National Consultative Assembly meeting and that something should be done to change the Constitution of the country.
“This group is concerned about the provisions of the National Consultative Council that have not been completed, some of which are against the Constitution and the agreements that Somalis have built. they can make a decision because it is a political agreement” is said in the press release from Kudlada.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Federal Government of Somalia has called on the Somali people who have been displaced by the floods and floods that have hit some regions of the country.
