The weekly meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia was discussed today regarding the situation caused by the floods and the parallel floods and the elimination of the Al-Shabaab group.
The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre. He first informed the Council of Ministers about his trip to Dolow district in Gedo region.
The Council of Ministers also heard a report on the effects of floods and floods from the National Disaster Management Agency, which said that nearly two million people were affected by the floods caused by the rains in the country and the floods that have been confirmed have died. 96 people.
“The government of the Federal Republic of Somalia is working hard to help the people affected by the floods, and they have called on the aid agencies and the Somali community to help the people affected by the rains,” said a statement issued at the Council of Ministers meeting.
The Ministries of Security and Defense of the Federal Government of Somalia also listened to reports related to the operations against Al-Shabaab which are still ongoing in most of the regions of the country.
