The president of the Puntland regional administration, Said Abdullahi Deni said that the people of SSC-Khatumo will remain part of the Puntland administration.
Puntland president Deni’s statement seems to be a response to a statement released a few nights ago by the leader of SSC-Khaumo, Abdulqadir Firdhiye, who said that the people of SSC-Khaumo will not be worried about the upcoming elections in Puntland.
President Deni expressed his support for the construction and development of the SSC-Khatumo administration in a speech last night, saying that while the administration is in the interim period of two years, they will have their rights under his administration in Puntland.
“Puntland supports the people of SSC, their administration and their culture as we said before, during the two years they are building whatever rights they had in Puntland as well as they are getting them, and we stand by them with all kinds of support” President Said Abdullahi Deni.
