The Minister of Internal Security of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mohamed Ahmed Sheikh Ali Doodishe, held a meeting with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The meeting between the two ministers discussed how the two governments could further strengthen the long-standing relationship between Somalia and Saudi Arabia.
The two ministers also discussed how the two governments cooperated on security issues and the fight against Al-Shabaab.
The Minister of Interior of Saudi Arabia, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, said that the Saudi government fully supports the Somali government in its fight against the Al-Shabaab group.
After the meeting, the Minister of Internal Security of Somalia, Mohamed Ahmed Sheikh Ali Doodishe, visited the University of Science and Security in Naif, the center for combating extremism and other places in the country.
The government of Somalia has recently received support from many countries in the world, especially those who are interested in the affairs of Somalia.
