The Danab commando force, especially the 5th unit of the 16th brigade and the Dervishes of the Jubbaland administration, have conducted planned operations against the Al-Shabaab organization in the past few hours in areas of the Lower Jubba region.
The areas where the planned operations were carried out by the cooperating forces are Yaaq Dabeyl, Saririha, Quds, Barja and Aboodinka which were all areas where the Al-Shabaab group was in the past.
The commander of the 5th unit of the 16th battalion of the Danab Arab Dheeg commandos told the national media that the army destroyed the positions and shelters of the group in those areas.
He also said that during the operation, the forces burned a car owned by an officer of the Al-Shabaab group, whose name was Abdirahman Gaagale.
The Danab commando force has already carried out many such operations in the areas of the Jubbaland state in which they are fighting the Al-Shabaab organization in some areas of Jubbaland.
