Reports from Galgaduud Region that armed groups killed a Quran school teacher and his brother who was a doctor last night in the village of Ilix, one of the villages under the city of Dhusamareb in the Galmudug capital.
May God have mercy on the two brothers who were killed, their names were Professor Liban Hassan Osman and Dr. Ahmed Hassan Osman, and after the murder, the militants quickly escaped from the scene.
The killing of the teacher of the Quran school and the doctor who was born last night, according to reports, is based on the killing of tribal members who have been active in areas of Galgaduud region for the past few years.
The death of Dr. Ahmed Hassan Osman, who was a doctor who worked in Buhoodle town, comes when he recently returned to his area of Ilix where he was said to be doing medical services.
Security forces from the Galmudug administration, which have been deployed from the towns of Dhusamareb and Guriceel, have arrived at the scene of the murder, and are looking for the militants who committed the murder.
